Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 60 mini pretzels
- 6-8 squares white chocolate almond bark
- 3-4 tbsp heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare Pretzels: Lay the mini pretzels in a single layer onto a sheet of wax paper, ensuring they don’t overlap to allow for easy decorating.
- Melt Almond Bark: Place the white chocolate almond bark squares in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave starting with 1 minute, then stir well. Continue heating in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the almond bark is completely melted and smooth.
- Decorate Pretzels: Using a piping bag, Ziploc bag with a corner cut, or small spoon, fill the center of each pretzel with the melted white chocolate, carefully creating a heart shape. Work in small batches (no more than 5 pretzels at a time) to prevent the chocolate from setting too soon before adding the sprinkles.
- Add Sprinkles: Immediately sprinkle each chocolate-filled pretzel with heart sprinkles while the white chocolate is still soft, so they stick well.
- Let Set: Allow the decorated pretzels to set at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened and is firm to the touch.
- Serve or Store: Once set, serve the White Chocolate Pretzel Hearts immediately or store them in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain freshness until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- Use wax paper or parchment paper to prevent sticking during the setting process.
- Work in small batches when filling pretzels with chocolate to prevent it from hardening before adding sprinkles.
- Store pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days for best freshness.
- You can substitute heart sprinkles with other festive toppings for different occasions.
- If white chocolate almond bark is not available, you may use white melting chocolate or high-quality white chocolate chips melted carefully.
