Sweet & Spicy Sauce For Seasoning
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 250°F (120°C) to prepare for baking the snack mix low and slow, ensuring it crisps evenly without burning.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the rice, corn, and wheat Chex cereals alongside mini pretzel twists, mini pretzel rods, mini breadsticks, rye bagel chips, and mixed nuts, creating the base of your snack mix.
- Prepare the Sweet & Spicy Sauce: Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add Worcestershire sauce, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and chili powder to the melted butter. Whisk thoroughly until well combined to create the flavorful seasoning sauce.
- Coat the Snack Mix: Pour the prepared sweet and spicy sauce over the dry snack mix. Use a spatula to gently fold and stir, ensuring every piece is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
