Description

This refreshing Strawberry Lemonade recipe can be enjoyed as a mocktail or cocktail, perfect for any occasion. The sweet and tangy flavors make it a delightful drink to serve to guests or enjoy on a sunny day.


Ingredients

For the Syrup:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup white sugar

For the Lemonade:

  • 10 strawberries with the ends cut off, fresh ripe are best but, frozen will work
  • 1 cup of lemon juice (about 6 lemons, freshly squeezed)
  • 3/4 cup of vodka (optional, gin or white rum also work)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Syrup: In a saucepan, heat water and sugar over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  2. Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, vodka, and cooled syrup. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer. Serve over ice with sliced lemons, strawberries, and mint leaves.

Notes

  • Don’t add ice directly to the pitcher to prevent dilution.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
