Pretzel Crunch:
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
Filling:
- 4 cups sliced strawberries
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 16 oz cool whip
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Pretzel Crunch: In a bowl, mix pretzel pieces, pecans, and brown sugar. Pour melted butter over and combine. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool and break into pieces.
- Make Filling: In a large bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Gently fold in cool whip. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Assemble Salad: Just before serving, top the cream mixture with sliced strawberries and pretzel crunch. Add more crunch on top if desired. Serve immediately.
