These Slow Cooker Barbecue Meatballs are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Juicy meatballs simmered in Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce with a hint of onion, creating a delicious appetizer or main course.

Ingredients:

  • 40 oz. frozen meatballs, (Safeway’s Kitchen brand homestyle meatballs)
  • 16 oz. Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 small sweet yellow onion, diced

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen meatballs to the slow cooker. Add the diced onion and barbecue sauce. Stir.
  2. Cover and cook. Cook on high for 2.5 hours or on low for 4 hours. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. Serve. Enjoy as an appetizer with toothpicks or over mashed potatoes, rice, or in rolls.
  4. To keep warm: Set slow cooker to warm after cooking time. Meatballs can stay warm for up to 3 hours. Stir occasionally.
