Description

A delicious and flavorful Shrimp Caesar Salad recipe that combines perfectly seasoned shrimp with a creamy Greek yogurt-based Caesar dressing, served over crisp romaine lettuce and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

For the shrimp

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil, for cooking

For the salad

  • 2/3 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Romaine lettuce
  • Parmesan cheese, to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. If you haven’t already, peel and devein the shrimp. Place them in a separate bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, thyme, cumin, sea salt, onion powder, and black pepper. Set aside.
  3. Season the shrimp with the spice mixture and toss well.
  4. Cook the shrimp in a skillet with olive oil until pink and cooked through. Set aside to cool.
  5. Prepare the salad dressing by mixing greek yogurt, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt.
  6. Toss romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing.
  7. Chill the salad in the fridge for at least 5 minutes.
  8. When ready to serve, top the salad with the shrimp and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftover shrimp in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat in the microwave.
  • The Caesar dressing can be refrigerated for up to a week.
