A tropical twist on the classic margarita, this Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita is a refreshing and spicy cocktail perfect for any occasion.

For the Pineapple Jalapeno Margaritas

  • 6 chunks fresh Pineapple 1″ cubes
  • 23 slices fresh Jalapeno
  • tiny pinch Sea Salt
  • 4 oz. Tequila silver or reposado
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz. fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 tsp. Agave Syrup

For the Rim

  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Muddle the fresh pineapple chunks, jalapeno slices, and a tiny pinch of sea salt: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the pineapple and jalapeno until the pineapple is broken down, about 20-30 seconds.
  2. Pour in tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup: Fill the shaker with ice, shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
  3. Stir the rim ingredients together: Run a pineapple or lime wedge over the glass rims, dip in the rim mix, fill glasses with ice.
  4. Strain the margarita between glasses: Garnish with a fresh pineapple chunk and leaf.
