Bread:
- 4 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
Spread:
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Butter:
- 1 tablespoon butter
Cheese:
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Bread: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Add half a tablespoon of butter on top of the mayonnaise on the outside of the bread.
- Add Cheese: On two slices of bread, place mozzarella and cheddar cheese on the non-mayonnaise side. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayo/butter side facing out.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat to 200°C/400°F.
- Cook: Spray air fryer basket, place sandwiches inside, and air fry for 8-9 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden.
- Serve: Slice sandwiches and enjoy!
Notes
- TO STORE: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- TO REHEAT: Use the air fryer or a skillet to reheat refrigerated grilled cheese.
