Wraps and Pizza Base
- 2 large Flour Tortillas
- 4 tbsp Pizza Sauce
- 100g / 1 cup shredded Mozzarella
- 16 slices of Pepperoni
Caesar Salad Filling
- 1 large head of Romaine Lettuce, chopped
- 45g / 3/4 cup Croutons, or to preference
- 30g / 1oz shaved Parmesan, or to preference
- 80 - 120ml / 1/3 - 1/2 cup Caesar Dressing, or to preference
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) to get ready for baking the wraps.
- Prepare Pizza Base: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over each flour tortilla, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and space out the pepperoni slices on top.
- Bake Tortillas: Place the tortillas on one or two baking trays and bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes, just until the cheese melts. Avoid over-baking to keep the tortillas pliable for rolling.
- Prepare Caesar Salad: While the tortillas bake, place the chopped romaine lettuce into a large bowl. Add your preferred amount of Caesar dressing, croutons, and shaved Parmesan. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Assemble Wraps: Once the tortillas are baked, load each with a generous portion of the Caesar salad mixture.
- Wrap and Serve: Tightly roll up each tortilla around the filling. Optionally, halve the wraps and pinch the ends while eating to prevent the filling from falling out. Enjoy immediately.
