Peppermint Espresso Martinis are a festive and refreshing twist on the classic espresso martini, combining the smoothness of vodka and coffee liqueur with the cooling hint of peppermint. Perfect for holiday gatherings or anytime you want a decadent, coffee-flavored cocktail with a seasonal flair.

- 4 oz vodka (vanilla vodka can be used if desired, ensure gluten free if needed)
- 2 oz Kahlua or coffee liqueur
- 3 oz fresh brewed espresso, cooled, or strong cold brew coffee
- 2 oz half & half (use Nutpods or Califia Farms Peppermint Mocha creamer for dairy free)
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
Chocolate Peppermint Rims & Garnish
- Chocolate syrup
- Candy canes, crushed
- 6 espresso beans
Instructions
- Prepare Glass Rims: Dip the rim of 2 martini glasses into chocolate syrup to coat evenly, then immediately dip them into the crushed candy canes to create a festive peppermint-chocolate rim.
- Mix the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, Kahlua, cooled espresso or cold brew, half & half or creamer, and peppermint extract into the shaker.
- Shake the Mixture: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 60 seconds to thoroughly combine and chill the ingredients.
- Serve: Strain and evenly pour the mixture into the prepared martini glasses. Garnish each glass with 3 espresso beans on top. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
- For a mocha twist, add 2 tsp chocolate syrup to the shaker along with the other ingredients before shaking.
- Nutrition facts provided do not include the chocolate peppermint rim.
- To make this recipe dairy free, substitute the half & half with original or peppermint mocha flavored Nutpods creamer, or Califia Farms Peppermint Mocha creamer.
