Garlic Butter Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the skillet and sear steak: Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat it over high heat until hot. Add the steak pieces to the skillet and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear steak bites: Cook the steak without stirring for at least 2 minutes to achieve a good sear. Then stir and continue cooking another 2 minutes until the bites are golden brown. If your skillet is small, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Remove steak and prepare garlic butter: Transfer the cooked steak bites to a plate. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Let it melt completely.
- Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the melted butter. Stir continuously for about 30 seconds, until the garlic is aromatic and begins to brown slightly.
- Toss and garnish: Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites, tossing well to coat evenly. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Pat the steak dry before cooking to ensure a better crust by removing moisture.
- Make sure the pan is hot and avoid stirring too soon to get a proper sear.
- Add garlic after removing steak to prevent burning the garlic.
