SMOOTHIE
- 1 large frozen banana (ripe, peeled, sliced)
- 1/4 – 1/2 medium ripe avocado
- 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder
- 1 large handful greens of choice (spinach, kale, rainbow chard)
- 3/4 – 1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
Optional
- 1 Tbsp seed of choice (hemp, flax, sesame, sunflower, chia, etc.)
- 1/2 tsp adaptogen of choice (maca, ashwagandha, etc.)
- 1/2 cup sliced frozen (or fresh) cucumber or berries (organic when possible)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add frozen banana, avocado, protein powder, greens, and almond milk to a blender. Include any additional add-ins.
- Blend: Blend until smooth, adjusting thickness with more almond milk or ingredients as needed.
- Adjust Flavor: Taste and adjust sweetness, creaminess, or color by adding more banana, avocado, or greens.
- Serve: Divide into glasses and enjoy immediately. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
