- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Yolk Mixture:
- 3 tablespoons (1.5 oz) cream cheese, softened (or 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt)
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Prepare Bowls: Ensure the glass mixing bowls are clean and residue-free. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate Eggs: Separate the eggs, making sure no yolk gets into the whites.
- Whip Egg Whites: Whip the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Yolk Mixture: Whisk together egg yolks, salt, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold In Egg Whites: Carefully fold whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture.
- Bake: Divide the mixture into mounds on the baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
- Cool: Allow the bread to cool on the pan for 5-10 minutes.
