For the Marinade:
- 2 lbs. chicken wings (drums and wingettes)
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil (can be replaced with olive oil)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)
Instructions
- To marinate your chicken: Add cilantro, lime juice, garlic, oil, chili powder, salt, pepper & cayenne to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Place chicken wings in a bag or bowl, add marinade, seal, and marinate for 30 minutes – 4 hours.
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Remove wings from marinade, place in a single layer in the basket, air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Baking Method: Preheat oven to 400°F. Place wings on a rack on a baking pan, bake for 30-35 minutes. Broil for extra crispiness if desired.
- Serve wings with lime wedges and extra sauce.

- Optional: Reserve some marinade for dipping sauce if short on time.
