Description

  • 5 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups orzo pasta

  • 1 handful of fresh spinach
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat up the skillet: Drizzle olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken sausages and cook until golden brown and starting to crisp up.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic: Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion softens and garlic is fragrant.
  3. Add orzo: Stir in orzo and toast lightly for about a minute.
  4. Pour in stock: Add stock to the pan, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
  5. Stir in ingredients: Mix in parmesan cheese, spinach, and cream.
  6. Finish and serve: Sprinkle lemon zest and chili flakes. Serve hot and enjoy!
