- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt divided
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Other:
- 1 lemon juiced (plus lemon slices for garnish)
- 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper flakes or to taste
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley divided
Instructions
- Microwave Green Beans: Arrange green beans in a microwave-safe dish with water. Cook for 4 minutes until barely fork-tender.
- Prepare Seasoning Mix: Combine Italian seasoning, onion powder, smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cook Chicken: Heat oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet. Cook chicken, then sprinkle with seasoning mix. Cook until done, then set aside.
- Cook Green Beans: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add green beans, parsley, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes. Add lemon juice and chicken broth, then cook to reduce liquid.
- Combine and Serve: Add chicken back to the skillet, toss with green beans and parsley. Garnish with lemon slices.
