Candy Corn Dipped Version
- Yellow candy melts, melted (quantity as needed for dipping 48 balls)
- Orange candy melts, melted (quantity as needed for dipping tops of balls)
- White sprinkles (for decoration)
- Lollipop sticks (48 sticks)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and finely crushed OREO cookies. Mix until fully blended and uniform in texture.
- Shape Balls: Shape the mixture into 48 balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter each. Place the balls on a baking sheet or tray, then freeze for 10 minutes to firm up.
- Chocolate Dip: Remove the chilled balls from the freezer and dip each ball completely into melted semi-sweet baking chocolate. Place dipped balls in a single layer on a shallow pan lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
- Candy Corn Dipping: For the candy corn dipped version, after mixing and shaping the balls and freezing for 10 minutes, insert a lollipop stick into each ball. Dip each ball fully into melted yellow candy melts and allow to dry for about five minutes.
- Decorate Tops: Once the yellow coating has dried, remove the balls from the sticks and dip the top half into melted orange candy melts. Immediately sprinkle white sprinkles over the orange coating. Place the balls on a platter and allow them to dry completely before serving.
