Bacon:
- 3 slices bacon
Crusty Bread:
- 4 slices crusty bread, toasted
Avocado Mash:
- 2 avocados, ripe
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Tomato Topping:
- 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced
Additional Seasoning:
- Flaky sea salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, shredded, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat and Cook Bacon: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, lay out bacon slices, and bake for 15-18 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels and let cool.
- Prepare Toast and Avocado: Toast bread slices. Halve avocados, remove seed and skin, and place ½ avocado on each toast. Mash avocado with a fork.
- Assemble: Drizzle with lemon juice, layer tomato slices on avocado, sprinkle with bacon, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Final Touches: Add more tomato slices, salt, pepper, and basil on top. Serve and enjoy!
